EU Electronic CoCs – Final Updates You Need to Know Before July 2026

As of 5 July 2026, the submission of electronic CoCs (Certificates of Conformity) will become mandatory for manufacturers of vehicles in classes M, N and O within the EU.

For this purpose, EUCARIS has updated the relevant standards – including data formats, data exchange methods, and requirements for multi-stage vehicles. In this webinar, the Smart Industries Network and the VCX team at WTG, together with Idske Dijkstra and Sjaak Kempe (EUCARIS), will present the latest changes.

Webinar Contents

1. Introduction of IVI 2.0

The IVI format for eCoCs has been revised to improve the message structure and remove outdated elements (Version 1.x). Sjaak Kempe will present the key changes.

2. National Access Points for Manufacturers

In the future, manufacturers will be able to transmit and retrieve IVIs via web services provided by EU Member States – provided that national access points are established. EUCARIS will explain the relevant standards.

3. eCoCs for Multi-Stage Vehicles

Special requirements apply to multi-stage vehicles. In the webinar, you will learn how vehicle data from subsequent production stages must be transmitted correctly.

Do you have any questions about the introduction of eCoCs?

I would be happy to answer your questions about eCoCs and the webinar. I look forward to hearing from you.
